grow up is a phrase
that so often gets tossed around
in truth a little we all must do
but too much weight is given
to not much of nothing i have found
so eat your cake for breakfast
then go ahead go run through the rain
for this chance to really live
won’t come round this way again
adult into heaven
bread unleaven
so to speak
tis peace and eternity we seek
